News:
A huge turnout for the Senior Citizens lunchtime concert. Each
year we like to take this crowd back to their formative years by playing
songs of yesteryear, back to an era we would have loved to have grown
up in. Thanks to Wintergarden proprietor Wade for his
patronage and help getting this organised.
Good to see some familiar faces at the August Wintergarden gigs. Thanks to guest Rob Turner for his talents on violin. It's rare to have two jazz violin players in Geelong let alone on the one stage! Thanks to all who attended the July concert at the Ballarat Jazz Club. The floor was packed with dancers cheek to cheek, smiles ear to ear and accolades a plenty. We thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to return to such a great crowd.
Welcome to rhythm guitarist Matt Kenneally, taking over the reins from Steve James who has moved to far north Qld. Good luck to Steve and good luck to Matt!
